Gift card and envelope design for Target’s annual Lunar New Year celebration.
Mural artwork for the new Target in Koreatown, Los Angeles. I wanted to reflect the blending of Korean and Latino cultures in Koreatown by showcasing the interesting similarities and differences of traditional Korean seals and Spanish tile art.
Series of playing cards based around the concept of each suit tied to a season and its associated sports. Hearts are summer, Diamonds are winter, Clubs are spring, and Spades are fall.
Editorial work for Harvard Business Review in their July issue. This one’s about how Michelin empowers their employees to let them perform beyond their roles and the overall positive effect it has on both the culture and the company.
Editorial illustrations for Stripe’s engineering and software magazine, Increment.
A small collection of icons across a variety of projects I have worked on.
My contribution to the Eureka exhibit hosted by Hoodzpah Design.
I wanted to pay homage to the work of Alvin Lustig and the awesome illustrations he did for Ghost In The Underblows published in 1940. The intricate repetition of lines and shapes in that body of work reminded me of the mishmash of steel and verticality of oil fields and rigs that swallowed the landscape of SoCal in the 1930s and 40s. I chose three of the biggest oil fields to exist at that time and to this day California remains one of the top oil producing states in the country.
Had the great opportunity to create a poster commemorating the Ducks 25th anniversary along with several other designs and illustrators across SoCal.
A collection of projects I worked on while on the Riot Games Merchandise team. The work spanned from apparel design for a T-shirt or hoodie to designing whole apparel collections and designing packaging for figures and pins.
The 2018 apparel collection for Riot's annual League of Legends Worlds Championship, League's premiere esports event celebrating the best teams in the world. The event takes place in four different cities throughout Korea for 2018. We were inspired by the trigrams of the Korean flag and based the branding of this year's collection on its graphic qualities and repetition.
