It was all over the map and I felt it needed a little help. And seeing that 2012 was their 20th anniversary, this was the perfect time to do a little something for them. My rebrand of Arizona draws upon the themes and visual language of the Southwest that the company draws its namesake from. It is an exciting fusion of contemporary modernist design language with the traditions of Native American art and culture to give Arizona a unique voice in an over-saturated market. Part of the project's requirements were to introduce hypothetical new items into the product line to expand Arizona's current offerings. So I chose to go with a limited edition run of Arizona Iced Tea vodka to celebrate their 20 years, and a new line of tea bags to expand Arizona into the hot tea market seeing as they have already dominated the iced tea market. It was as recently as the 70s that we all thought it was impossible for life to exist under such extreme conditions. But the remarkable discoveries under our own oceans have rejuvenated scientists around the world in our search for life on other planets, and are changing the preconceptions of what conditions are suitable for life to occur. The project called for a limited use of imagery, and as such I provided QR codes within the poster that link out to YouTube videos of the different kinds of habitats that are featured. The 2012 U.S. budget report spans over 200 pages long, filled with esoteric numbers that no one understands unless you are intimately involved with those numbers. My take on it was to provide readers with bite-sized information for each of the 15 federal departments of the executive branch of the U.S. The covers reflect their respective departments that hopefully entices casual passer-bys want to pick it up and read what is inside. I also redesigned the different seals of each department to make them look like a unified governing body. Inside you will find funding highlights for each department for the 2012 fiscal year, budget and spending trends of that department over the last 40 years, the breakdown of how the money is distributed in each department for the 2012 fiscal year, and a comparison of the budget and spending of each department in relation to one another for the 2012 fiscal year. <img
